Governor Branstad’s decades-long war against public employees was dealt another blow today as the arbiter looked at the proposals on the table, and ruled on behalf of AFSCME and Iowa’s outstanding state employees.  These employees work hard everyday to protect our children, our seniors, our communities, and our way of life, and this final decision is a recognition of that work. Iowa Democrats are proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the working men and women of this state, and thank them for their continued work on behalf of Iowans.
