Flipper Skipping Gipper Dinner in Iowa

As Politico reported yesterday, “Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace publicly called out Mitt Romney this morning for avoiding press scrutiny.”

Now this week, Romney will skip two Republican Presidential candidate events in Iowa.

This DNC video may explain why Romney won’t be coming to the Iowa Republican Party’s Reagan dinner this Friday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQCInYfDEY4

Not only has “WhichMitt” Romney flip flopped on core issues like health care reform, climate change, taxes and spending, but he’s even flip flopped on his thoughts on Ronald Reagan.

After the fallout Romney faced last week from flip, flopping and flipping again on the anti-worker ballot issues in Ohio, we can’t blame him for wanting to avoid the tough questions here in Iowa like “how DO you feel about Ronald Reagan?”

Or maybe Romney is worried about flipping on what the AP listed as one of his top gaffes, his declaration in Iowa this summer that “corporations are people, my friend.”

In addition to skipping the Reagan Day dinner on Friday, Romney is also skipping the presidential forum in Pella on Tuesday hosted by the National Association of Manufacturers and Governor Branstad despite the fact that the AP reported this weekend that “Romney is stepping up his Iowa campaign and talking about winning the state.”

It seems there’s no issue too big or too small for “WhichMitt” Romney to take both sides.
