DNC Chairman Kaine to Visit Iowa in August

DES MOINES, IA – Iowa Democratic Party Chair Sue Dvorsky today announced Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tim Kaine is coming to Iowa in August to attend the state fair and other events for Iowa Democrats.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chairman Kaine to our state next month. I know I speak for all Iowa Democrats in saying that his leadership of the DNC has been an asset to Democrats across the entire state as we prepare for continued electoral success in November,” said Dvorsky. “Since becoming Chairman, he has continued to fight for Democratic candidates and causes in all 50 states, with the belief that every community and voter matters.”

Chairman Kaine will be in Des Moines on Tuesday, August 17th for the state fair and other events in the area.
