This past weekend, Democrats from around the state gathered in Des Moines for their bi-annual state convention.

Governor Culver addresses the Convention Chair

In between spirited debate on amendments and planks to the party platform, (no one said democracy came without a little mess and rancor here and there) our nominees spoke to the delegates and got them fired up about the upcoming election.

Incumbents such as Governor Culver and Lt. Governor Patty Judge welcomed our challengers like Bill Maske, Matt Campbell, and Roxanne Conlin.

We’ve put all the speeches from the day into one big YouTube playlist so grab some popcorn, an undecided voter or two, and enjoy!
