Braley visits HCC farm, touts job bill

Clinton rail port, industrial park project to get funds

Gov. Chet Culver’s office announced Wednesday the letting of about $10 million in contracts for state infrastructure improvement projects, including $2 million for the Clinton rail port and industrial park and a Scott County road.
The contract to improve Union Pacific rail access to the industrial park on the west side of Clinton went to Peterson Contractors in Reinbeck, Iowa, for $2,037,686.83. Read full article…
