The Iowa State Fair got under way last night with a great parade that stretched for miles and entertained thousands. The Iowa Democratic Party was there showing support for Governor Culver and Lt. Governor Judge and the only thing warmer than the crowds reception was the August sun.

This morning the crowds poured into the fair and visitors to the IDP booth were wowed by the setup. With photo slideshows and online raffle entry forms, our booth shows that this is a party of the 21st century.

Senator Tom Harkin stopped by the booth this morning to talk with constituents before taking in all that the fair has to offer and we got some great pictures.
