All summer, Organizing for America volunteers have been at community events, going door to door, and on the phone collecting declarations of support for the President’s call for health insurance reform. As the August recess ends and members of Congress will be heading back to Washington, we will be holding one last event in Des Moines to show support for health care reform in Iowa. We will also take this opportunity to pay tribute to the late Senator Ted Kennedy whose life’s cause was providing quality, affordable health care to every American.
